Hi, I’m Kate Bala.

In this AI age, I think all of us should working more than one income source (i.e. something beyond our salary).

I created this blog to focus on the income streams I’m building and improving right now: KDP Publishing, Blogging, and maybe a little Personal Finance along the way. That’s where most of my time (and curiosity) is going at the moment; so those will be the main focus on this blog, along with anything else that earns a spot on my “worth testing” list.

This isn’t a “follow me, I’ve figured it all out” kind of blog. It’s more of a working notebook: what I’m researching, what I’m trying, what’s working, what’s not, and what I’m changing as I go — all with a practical, systems-first lens.

After more than 18 years working in operations in the corporate world, I naturally gravitate toward workflows and repeatable processes. I bring that same mindset here, with the goal of building income streams that are organized, realistic, and scalable.
